03 Perforating and Grid Work 2014
Video Links
Here are links to some homemade videos I have made to help students. I emphasise home made as they are not a professional quality. One day I will get around to making better ones! If you need any help like this I will always find time to try and make more.
ParchmentWorldwide.vidmeup.com some of the videos on this link are repeated below, but this one should be the only link you need.

List of materials and tools required for this Diploma Course
Although it is not important which tool brand you use, I recommend PCA as I favour these.
Micro & Small embossing ball tools
Four of the shaders (micro, mini, shader and mega shader)
Needle tools: one, two, four (in a square), oct, grid square, slot tool and scallop (or semi-circle)
Grid: fine straight by PCA
Blendable (oil based) colouring pencils (good selection of colours) like Polychromo for example
Felt tip pens
Brush round #2
Embossing mat (a rubber mat is recommended)
Perforating mat
Very Fine tipped scissors or snips (need to be very finely tipped)
A dry tumble drier sheet (you know the type you put in your drier to stop static and make things smell nice? They give an easy embossed surface when rubbed over the back of your parchment paper
Fine white pencil
Coloured ink (2-3 colours including white) and a good quality nibbed pen – OR you can use a very fine .003 or .005 architects pen which is like a fibre pen with an extremely fine nib – Rotring make them and you can get ink in white, black, red & blue if you cannot use a mapping pen. Copic are another make but they don’t them in white.
All these items are available on this website (including Rotring but not Copic) and as a student you benefit from a 10% discount without any minimum order.
